Privacy Policy

This policy describes how STEMSA LLC, doing business as Nibbles ("Nibbles", "we", "us"), of Batavia, Ohio, handles information collected through the Nibbles access-request form.

1. What we collect

When you submit the access-request form, we collect the details you enter: your company name, your name, your phone number and your email address. We email a confirmation code to the address you enter and ask you to type it into the form to confirm your email before your request is reviewed; the code is used only for that. We also record whether you ticked the text-message consent box and when you submitted the request.

2. How we use it

We use this information only to review your request, to send you the decision, and, if you approve texting and your request is approved, to set up your account and send you the account-setup text messages described below. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.

3. Text messages

• We send text messages only to people who requested access and ticked the consent box on the form.
• If your request is approved, we send up to four text messages per request, and only about setting up your account: (1) an approval notice with a link to download the Nibbles app and a temporary username; (2) a separate text with a temporary password; (3) a welcome message after your first sign-in. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
• Temporary login by text. The temporary username and password are generated for you, can be used once, expire about 24 hours after they are sent, and must be changed the first time you sign in to the app. We store only a protected (hashed) form of the password, never the plain text, and we will never ask you to reply to a text with your password or any other credential. Text messages are not a fully private channel, so please delete the password text after you have changed your password, and do not share it. If you did not request access, ignore the messages and reply STOP.

• Mobile opt-in data and text-messaging consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of requesting access; you may give an email address and decline texts.

4. Service providers

Twilio Inc. acts as our messaging service provider. It delivers our text messages and processes your phone number and message content (including the temporary username and password in the account-setup texts) for that purpose only. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties, except where required by law.

5. Retention

Requests that are denied are purged within 24 hours of the decision. Information for approved requests is kept while the account is active and deleted when the account is closed, unless we must keep it by law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing us.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting access to it and using encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and you can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing us.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
